Hmmm... Found an interesting ancient group... In the time of the Roman Empire, there were Christian Ascetic Monks who holed up in the Egyptian Desert... They were known as the Desert Fathers. They seemed to know ALOT more about Christianity than most modern day christians, from what I read. http://www.balamandmonastery.org.lb/fathers/indexsayings2.htm-These are thier Wise Sayings. They also seemed to be Extremely intellegent.
